Carvers of America (CCA) in 2023 in recognition
of his outstanding talent and contributions to
the art of caricature woodcarving. Bruce’s
whimsical characters are full of personality,
expressive features, and just the right touch of
humor, making them favorites among collectors
and carvers alike.

During this 3-day class, Bruce will guide
students step-by-step throughone of his
signature caricature projects while sharing the
techniques that bring his carvings to life.
Students will learn to establish proportion,
create expressive facial features, add
movement and personality, and develop clean,
confident knife cuts.

carving skills or simply enjoy creating a
character that makes people smile, this class
offers plenty of individual instruction and
encouragement .
