With Larry Longtine – Feb 2; 9-4 or Feb 16; 9-4

Embrace your Scandinavian side, even if you aren’t Scandinavian.  The Dala horse and Fjord horse are well known and loved traditional wood carvings. This is a perfect project for someone that has little to no experience wood carving. Tools will be available, if you do not have your own.

Carve one or both horses. The carving class is $30 plus material fees ($10 for one blank, $15 for two).

Class starts at 9:00, we will be breaking for lunch around noon. You may bring your lunch or there are nearby options for going out.

If you are attending the February 2 class, we will be taking a break for the Red River Valley Wood Carvers club meeting at 10:00. You are welcome to join the meeting, or you may stay in the classroom area and work on your project.

There are painting classes scheduled to finish your horse. The dates are February 16 or March 2. You only need to attend one class. The painting class is $30 plus a material fee of $5.

Please register for this class at In the Chips, so they know how many to plan for.
