Wayne Hankel will teach the carving of a wren from a butternut wood cutout. The usual palm tools and knife are needed plus a wood burner if you wish to accent some feathers on the carving. A maximum of 15 students from beginner to advanced skill level will be allowed. The $5.00 materials fee is payable to the instructor at class time.

7:00pm – 9:00pm Display table set up for participants in Woodland Room
*Exhibitors may set up displays AFTER all tables have been
set up (Exhibitors only please!)
Saturday, April 9, 2016
8:00am – 11:30am Continuation of class with Chris Hammack
8:00am – 11:30am Class with Larry Longtine – Elm Room
9:00am – 11:30am Class for Adult Beginners – Cedar Room
8:00am – 11:30am Class for youth – Wayne Hankel – Birch Room
8:00am – 10:00am Exhibitors may set up displays (Exhibitors only please!)
10:00am – 5:00pm Show open to public
(Admission Fee: $3.00 per adult; under 12 free; Family $7.00)
11:30am – 12:30pm Lunch (cost included in registration fee) – Walnut Room
(Exhibitors will eat in shifts. Their exhibit tables will be
supervised by RRVWC Volunteers if needed)
5:30pm – 6:00pm Social hour (cash bar) – Birch and Walnut Room
6:00pm Dinner
7:00pm Carving Exchange, Door Prizes
(All are welcome to attend after Dinner)

3:30pm Presentation of People’s Choice & Carver choice Awards

Accommodations
A block of rooms have been set aside at the newly remodeled Baymont Inn
at the rate of $88.00 per night. Up to four people can stay in one room.
Rooms not booked by March 11, 2016 will be released and the regular rate will apply.
