Learn the basics of card weaving by creating something functional AND
fancy – shoelaces! Participants may either bring their own inkle loom, or
purchase one for use.

We will cover some of the history of tablet weaving, uses, tablet types, how to read
different pattern types, where to find online resources, color choice for your
warp, how to warp your loom, how to thread and turn the cards , working
with weft, and trouble shooting common problems like “twist”.


What you should bring:
Minimum 2, maximum 7 colors 10/2 cotton yarn.
Inkle loom & shuttle if you have yarn them

basic tablet/cardset
fishing swivels
twist-stick
information packet/pattern
shoelace aglets
