Total Class Cost: $40.00

We will carve a full sized duck decoy head only. On this basswood cutout, we will insert glass eyes. This can be a smooth/stylized painted head or it can be wood burned for texture and then painted. We will use hand tools for carving, bring the tools you have and carving glove, I will have tools that can be used during the class. If you are going to texture with a wood burner, bring it with you. I will have paints, but we may not get to painting in this one day class. Cost of cutout and glass eye is $10.00. I will have some decoy bodies, if you want to make a complete decoy. (We will not carve the body in class, but we can talk about it.)

I will offer three types of duck heads: canvasback, redhead and mallard (green head).
